    Belkin Wireless adapter issues

I just recently installed Unbuntu 12.04 on my desktop. It easily recognized the Belkin USB Wireless N Adapter (F5D8053 v4), but every 5 to 10 minutes it will stop connecting to the internet. It continues to show that it is connected to the network, but nothing will download and pages will not load. Unplugging the adapter and plugging it back in will solve the problem for a short time, and then it will go down again. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a fix.

    Re: Belkin Wireless adapter issues

Can you plug it in and post the output of:

    Code:
    lspci -vvv
    dmesg
    lsmod
    linux-git/fs/super.c: "Self-destruct in 5 seconds. Have a nice day...\n",

Okay, wireless USB that uses rt2800 usb driver. Seems to work properly:

    Could you:

    - unplug USB
    - execute: 'sudo dmesg -c'
    - plugin USB
    - make sure internet works
    - use it till it drops
    - execute: 'sudo dmesg >& dmesg.log'

Post the contents (or the file itself) of dmesg.log here.

Where does the log appear? When I ran the second command, it asked for the password and then does not give me a log.

    >& dmesg.log means: output to dmesg.log.

You should see a dmesg.log file in the directory you ran the command.
