Serp6 ram?

Does anyone remember or know if the serp 6 ram limit is 8GB or something higher?

I have a Serp6 with 8GB. I believe that when I purchased the Serp6 in May of 2010, 8GB was listed as the max on the System76 website. But I've never tried to install additional RAM.

8 GB is definitely the maximum on the SerP6

thanks for your reply. Is there going to be a new serp? I would like to upgrade to a newer model but system76 no longer seems to carry a similar laptop.

Possibly, thoguh we don't have any prototypes right now.
