forum support for web browsers (Opera?)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but thought I'd start here. My problem is that the thread tools menu doesn't open all the time when I click on it. Sometimes it does, but mostly it doesn't and I have to open in a new tab or window to access them at the bottom of the page. This only happens with Opera, not Google Chrome nor Firefox. Is this something that can be fixed here? Is it an Opera problem? Or is it just me.

Have you tried with all extensions (add-ons) disabled?

Thanks Vasa1. Just tried that in a new window. Disabling extensions didn't help, (which I admit I am rather relieved about because I like my extensions, LOL)

I can verify this. My Opera 12.02 doesn't open the thread tools or allow the ones that pop up. Right clicking works.

Edit: Sometimes they open but they only seem to go to search.

I just noticed they don't have the down arrows beside the text as FF does.

Check to make sure you aren't blocking yahooapis.

The only blocking extension I have on Opera is AdBlock. It doesn't help to disable it though, I still have the same problem.

Try to clear the cache and make sure that you have enough available disk space.

Okay, cleared cache, history, etc. I have about 350 GB of disk space available. But I still can't get thread tools menu to drop down.

Critin, any luck on your end?

I can add that once I've right clicked thread tools and opened in another tab or window, it will drop down for that particular thread afterwards. Seems like I have to go through these steps for each new thread I read and need the tools for.

I don't normally use opera except on windows on a certain site. I'm on FF. But the opera I used yesterday was an install on another ubuntu system, new so cache was empty. I hadn't added any plug-ins. Right clicking took me to search on all I tried. I really don't remember if the down arrows were ever there on Opera. I haven't done any more testing.
