Hi and welcome, please review the Ubuntu Forums Code of Conduct
You can check the remember me button when logging in.The purpose of the Ubuntu Forums is to provide support for Ubuntu. We also want this to be a place where community can develop and we can enjoy one another's company. To achieve this, we strive to maintain an atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all and we ask all members of the community to be respectful at all times. This means please use etiquette and politeness. Treat people with kindness, gentleness and respect. If you do this, the rest of the code of conduct won't need more than a cursory mention.
You only have so many mins to make a post before it times out.
Many forums have time limts for you to do something on them. You can always use the "remember me" button when logging in.
Do we get some kind of meat with the pasta? (BTW, Composing the message offline then copying and pasting is a good suggestion.)

My Blog
I'm sure I have the "remember me" thing ticked but I didn't know it would save the contents of the editor's text box.
Some forums have a "save draft" option. Some do it automatically. I don't see the save draft option here. I also don't see the transient "saving" that is visible in forums that do save drafts automatically. So I'm quite impressed to know that the "remember me" thing serves the purpose of saving drafts. (Of course, the privacy advocates will see this as another you-know-what.)
And here's another carefully crafted response
