Hi there,

I just installed 12.04 on my desktop (Lenovo Thinkcentre) and everything was going fine until I installed Google music manager...

It uploads music for a little while and then stops and I can't connect to the internet anymore but the icon in the top right says I'm still connected.

When I try to reboot it hangs on the ubuntu splash screen and gives an error:

phy0-> rt2x00usb_vendor_request: Error - Vendor Request 0x07 failed for offset 0x0500 with error -71

Then I have to hold the power button to make it shutdown. Once I power it back on everything is fine- but I'm afraid to open Google music manager.

I don't know what that driver is for or how to fix it. Any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
