Hey everyone,
So I have a small issue. I want to purchase a USB NAS Ethernet adapter so that I can take my 6TB external drive off of my Ubuntu server and just make it a NAS device. Yes I am sure that this sounds quite easy. But here is the problem. Since I run everything at home with Ubuntu the external drive is formatted in EXT4. Looking at a lot of these devices they all mention that they do NTFS and Samba (which is fine although I would prefer NFS) If any of you know of an adapter that can do the following things please share.
Can handle at least 6TB
Can do EXT4
USB3.0 would be a plus
NFS would be a plus but I can live with Samba
Thank you all in advance for your help with this.
