Question How do I get the GUI for Mupen64Plus on 12.04?

Ever since upgrading to Precise(32-bit), I haven't been able to use Mupen64Plus with its GUI. I know other people have had this problem and have created threads on it, but none of what they have done seems to work for me. Is there an idiot's guide to getting a GUI up and running? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: How do I get the GUI for Mupen64Plus on 12.04?

I wrote a guide for this some time ago http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1686297 but from what I know cutemupen was no longer in active development after that. Apparently wxMupen64Plus was the thing to go for after that. Also have a look at http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus...rdPartyPlugins for other front ends Cutemupen might still be an option, I'll probably look into N64 emulation in a few weeks time as I have moved to Manjaro Linux for now.

    Hope this helps a bit.
