Anyone tried it? Any thoughts?
I really liked Pardus 2007.2.

I may have to try it.
(Do you know if it has wmii in the repos?)
Wonderful distro. It's not "just another" debian/suse/mandriva, but it's own distro from the ground up, really.Anyone tried it? Any thoughts?
It's kde centric though.
My only complaint would be the ugly icon theme they cant seem to change for something more, well modern. Now i'm just being picky though. It's hard to find much wrong with pardus you see
i'm *not* using pardus, so i'm not all that biased. (can't stand kde 3)
Pardus is highly kde/qt centric, and i think you would be unsatisfied with the lack of gtk/cli applications in the repos. No harm in trying though.Do you know if it has wmii in the repos?

I just read a review of the RC2: http://www.distro-review.com/review-pardus-2008-rc2
I'm downloading it now to check it out.
Remeber to visit #pardus on freenode if you have any problems. Those guys are *so* friendly and helpful. It's a turkish IRC channel mainly, but they speak english as well

Pardus is the closest one which does not make me uncomfortable with KDE I usually keep a Pardus installation in one of my partitions.
