Fellow geeks,
I have tried everything to make my internal microphone work in ubuntu 12.04 but nothing solved. Almost all the threads on internet suggest using alsamixer or PulseAudio Volume Control. I have done fiddling with that but to no avail. My system is Dell studio 1435, core 2 duo. And the mic works fine in windows vista, windows 7.
Please suggest something.
