Remove attachments from old posts

I posted some messages with attachments some time ago and I would like to remove the attachments (I'm moving them all to one post for tidyness sake).

Is this possible?

Depends when I suspect.

If it was longer than a week ago it's possible you can't.

You'd have to save the attachments and then reattach them if it is possible.

Months ago. Ok, no problem. I just wanted to tidy up by removing the attachments from their original location and directing people to the new one.

You can still delete attachments from old posts from User CP > Attachments (bottom of Control Panel

You'll be able to open the attachments, save and then reattach to new thread.
