    VLC Volume Output

    Hi Everyone,
I have been using vlc to play all my audi and video files and when using my head phones the audio only outputs through one side. When using other programs the headphones work fine. Ive gone through all the settings in VLC and found no solution.

Anyone else had this problem or a solution ?

    Thanks much

Are you saying that if you open up the same file with vlc player and, say, movie player that vlc only outputs sound to one side while movie player outputs to both? What happens when you change the balance to the other side, do you hear nothing at all?

    Re: VLC Volume Output

well yes the problem seems to be restricted to VLC media player itself. In movie player the both sides work fine. If i turn the balance all the way to the right i hear nothing at all. Really strange....

Ever had this problem before... is there a setting im not seeing??

    OP,

Do you have this problem for all file-types? I think that certain types like .flv act up more than others.

Might want to see if making a clone with ffmpeg helps any...
