Impossible to "Modify as new" in Thunderbird

    Hi to all.
I'm experiencing problems when trying to use the "Modifica come nuovo" (trad: "modify as new") function.
In detail, I get the following message:

Non è riuscito l'invio del messaggio.
Errore nell'allegare fetch>UID>^[Gmail]^Posta inviata>7626. Controllare i permessi di accesso al file.

That is there's some access restriction problem when trying to send the modified email.

    How can I solve it?
    Thanks.

Can you give me a screen shot of the issue you are having so maybe myself or someone else can help you get this straightened out? Thank you in advance.

    Please find the attached screenshots.
I got more detail about the error. Actually, it does not happens all the times and it does not happens with all the accounts.

I see that is seems to happen just on one folder (my most used one!)
    Any suggestion, please?
    Thanks.
    Regards.

What is going on with it or what is it that you are doing when you receive the error message?

Have you tried purging Thunderbird and re-installing the program?

Re: Impossible to "Modify as new" in Thunderbird

Dear daslinkard, thank you so much for your interest.
However, I would like to avoid "Windows style" solutions specially taking into account that it seems not to be a TB generalized malfunction but a specific-folder-related issue.

Better, I think it has more to do with wrong permission.
Hope you can help me locating the wrong folder and compare its permission settings to the permission setting of the working folders.

    Thank you!
    Regards.
