    Asus EEE Pc 1001HA Webcam Problem

    Dear all,

    after a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) the webcam is mounted to /dev/video1. as usual it should be video0. neither cheese nor camorama can access the camera

    any help ??

    On Ubuntu 12.10 the internal webcam of Asus Eee 1001HA is not detected in Cheese Webcam Booth or by skype.
    Any ideas on where to look for the cause of the problem?
