Need Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7 Cloud sync solution

I need to find a way to use either Ubuntu 1 or Google Drive in both Windows and Ubuntu 12.04.

Which is a better solution for both OSs?

    How do I use:
    -Ubuntu 1 in Windows
    -Google Drive in Ubuntu
    with full features?

    Thanks!

    Read this?
For GDrive you might want to look at Insync
    I'm thinking about it

Currently the one "official" release that is cross-platform is Ubuntu One.

I haven't tried the 3rd party projects for connecting to Google Drive but Ubuntu One does work on Windows, slightly interestingly.

For example you can have your Pictures folder in Windows sync with your Pictures folder in Ubuntu.

If you don't need the cloud component you can easily synchronize between two machines using FreeFileSync.

Edit: Insync lists only Windows, Mac and Mobile as supported OSes.

Insync is installed on this laptop in 12.04. I have to run it from terminal so its not perfect but I now have a Google Drive, Dropbox and Ubuntu One folder showing in Nautilus and everything syncs perfectly!

How often do you need Windows?
You could put it in a virtual box and have a shared folder with your primary OS - Ubuntu

I'm using ubuntu one with my Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7 in both my laptop and desktop. That means four PCs are connected with Ubuntu One account.

It's working great for me. Previously (more than 1 year ago), I wasn't happy with Ubuntu One, but now it's different and working great.

So, in my opinion Ubuntu One is enough for you cloud solution.

    Thanks.

I'm trying Ubuntu One now, but having trouble on Windoze 7. It's either taking a LONG time to sync, or it's not syncing.

I have two separate disk systems in this machine, one for Ubuntu 12.04 and one for Windoze 7, There are also two other Windows machines I need to eventually sync with, a laptop on XP and a desktop on Vista.

Running Ubuntu One on the following devices...

    Windows 8
    Windows 7
    2 Ubuntu 12.04 machines
    1 Android phone
    1 Iphone 3GS

All sync without problem for now.
So Ubuntu One is really cross platform
