    iLook 320 Genius webcam driver

    Hi Guys,
    I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed on Old HP Nc6120 laptop. Issue that I am having is that sound on 'Genius iLook 320 webcam' is not consistent. It goes up and down, people can hear me clearly then goes bad and so on. This is external camera connected via USB. Lately I can hear some buzzing like static electricity.
    Not sure what can I do here. I am beginner regarding Linux. Can I somehow update the driver in Ubuntu? I tried Genius website but only windows drivers are available.
    How to update drive in Ubuntu in the first place?
    Any suggestions/guidence will be most welcomed.
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi, at first, ensure your system is up-to date
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    from terminal. Then, try to check closed drivers (try to look for "drivers" in Unity menu). Or try Ubuntu software centre.
    If you don't find anything, try these instructions, it should work also for 12.04

    Simple fix: I tested HP deluxe camera is it's much better. Hoping that problem is solved. I don't want to jinx it
    Thanks.
