    Removing virus from pen drive

    i found one virus on my pen drive. but i opened that virus folder.whether it cause any problem? but later by typing gksudo nautilus i have deleted that folder. Now is there chance of any more virus on my system?

    Hi ,
    you did well. Linux usually not affected from Windows viruses. If you deleted the virus , then probably you are OK.

    If you want to scan your system (or other systems) for Viruses , then install clamav

    Just as long as it wasn't a bootable pen drive and it wasn't in the "boot sector" as it were.
