I am running the latest version of Ubuntu on a Macbook Pro 8 2.
I have read hours and hours of documentation and fixes on how to get the wireless card to work with Ubuntu, but my problem persists.
My problem is different than everyone elses because I can not even find a trace of my wireless card, so I don't think its a driver problem.
The wireless card worked on OS x the day before I installed Ubuntu...
Does anyone have any advice for me short of taking the Macbook apart and putting a new wireless card in it?
I am pretty much stuck with Ubuntu too because I have no MacOS restore CD, and the MacBook superdrive is superjunk and I cannot even read most installation DVD's.
I have been limping along with an old USB belkin wireless adapter which is super lame sticking out of the side of my $1400 MBP.
Someone please help, I have literally spent 15 hours reading, installing, reading, installing...
