Title pretty much says it all. How do I identify a program that hangs on reboot/shutdown when it shows "Unknown"?
Is there a shutdown log that might have the info? Is there a way to shutdown using the terminal that might show the name of the hanging program? Is there a way to have the GUI give the name and not just say unknown?
Anyone? Please?
Maybe if I bump it during mid-day I will actually get a reply. I sure don't think I'll figure it out on my own like the rest of my problems.
Found a way to find it. It involves enabling a default-disabled log. In my case, nepomuk was the offending program.
