    Javascript terminal?

    Hi all,
Perhaps you've seen the site: www.thewebsiteisdown.com
with their lulzy UNIX terminal. I am wondering just how they did that, JavaScript I imagine, though I haven't been able to dig out their source.

Im wondering if anyone knows of similar projects? I would guess some thing similar could be written in php.

A more serious version would be this:
    http://bellard.org/jslinux/
booting linux in the browser via JavaScript... I would have no idea how to do that.

There is really no comparison between the two. The first one is child's play, the second is pure aesomeness.

That childs play is what im interested in. Im having trouble making that site work localy, though I did find something called vterm.js.
    http://www.thewebsiteisdown.com/js/soundmanager2.js

and in looking for more about that found webtty:
    http://code.google.com/p/webtty/sour...ww/term.js?r=6

Im still not sure how to use either one.
If I have to write a fake web terminal im going to do it in php. Will it be lousy? Oh yes.
