how do I set firefox to save and close multiple tabs?

This used to be the default originally , but I was messing around with it a while back and changed the settings. Now I don't know recall how to get it back to the way it was before.

I went into the preferences and set it back to warn me when closing multiple tabs , but it doesn't give me the option to save and close as it did before I changed it. I'd like it to remember the tabs , so that when I open firefox again it automatically brings back the tabs I had ope n before.

anyone know how to do this?

If you want it to do it automatically, just open up preferences. The first thing under general is what to do when firefox starts. Just set that to show windows and tabs from last time.
