    Enable remote access to local WordPress

    I have recently installed WordPress on my Ubuntu Server and prepared a website which I now would like to share with people external to my network. Whenever I try to access my server via my public IP or through DynDNS, I get the standard LAMP response: "It Works!". However if I then try to access WordPress (/var/www/wordpress) on myip.iport/wordpress, the connection times out!

    What can I do to enable external users to access my WordPress?

    EDIT: Solved this by setting my server as DMZ in my router.
