Clicking won't work in Minecraft 1.3.2!

Hey guys, I was playing MInecraft 1.3.2 today and my mouse is acting weird. I can click in the menus, I can break and place blocks without fail, but when I'm in my inventory, the clicking doesn't work. It takes forever to make a stone pickaxe. Please help!

i am guessing youre using java7/opendjk7
try use java6/openjdk6 instead, it does not have that issue.

i still feel java7 is incomplete and full of odd issues...

Is there any other way? I just barely got Minecraft to work with mods. And it's not the mods causing it.

OK, update. I have Minecraft running on openjdk6. No change. Please help, I haven't been able to play Minecraft for 3 months because this is so frustrating, and I built this computer specifically to play it.

Another update: I updated the lwjgl to 2.8.5, and it still won't work.

I had this same issue, and have somehow resolved it.

My fix at the time was found here -> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1980790

Since moving from a wubi install, upgrading to 12.10, updating to Minecraft 1.4 and using Java 7, it has started working fine. Not sure which fixed the issue, but I'm sure someone else can try one of these.

Weird. I tried all that and none of it worked. However, I got it working. I was using MagicLauncher, and it appears that a couple of mods were conflicting. So, I need to go through and update them all. Thanks for all the suggestions!
