I am trying to install Braid in lubuntu. I installed the software center, but it doesn't have the paid apps option. Is this option not available in lubuntu? Is there a way of accessing it?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Have you paid for the program and been given a .deb/source package and want to know how to install?
To install an application like that the package manager is used and not the software centre.
From what I understand only free/non-pay software is available through there unless Ubuntu now sells apps on there?
