How do I fix overscan now that Nvidia removed the overscan GUI fix...

I updated to the latest Nvidia driver and right away I noticed the overscan...I went to my nvidia settings to find out that the compensation tool is gone...IMO this is a stupid move by Nvidia...they broke something that worked just fine...I want a solution without having to manually edit the xorg...meh.

    Hay,

In mho, just install the older drivers again which you know worked. Why did you update them any way?

I dont think you can compensate for overscan by editing the xorg config file though. It is more a hardware thing.

Thats the thing I'd like to be able to update to the latest drivers, especially since valve has been working with Nvidia to optimize 3d Gaming. I'm not sure why they broke something that worked just fine

Luckily it did not disappear completely, look here and here. Should get you going.
