How to check if UbuntuOne is Really Syncing?

I never really know whether UbuntuOne has synced properly as even a simple jpg seems to take days to decide whether it's really synced, if the syncing symbol is anything to go by as in attached screenshot.

You could log in online and check if the files appear: Ubuntu One .
I never had similar problems, it is syncing even faster than dropbox.

As suggested above check on line. I find the when adding new items to synced folders the changes are uploaded almost immediately. I don't know why it would show the upload indicator for days. I have not tested the upload and download speed setting in Ubuntu One because there hasn't been a need, but that may be worth exploring.
