I recently purchased a Smasung Laptop with very good specs. It came with Windows 7, so I installed Ubuntu via Wubi. When I run Windows I have no issues, apart from the brightness controls not working, which I don't really care about. Also, when I run Ubuntu and use an external monitor I have no issues.
However, if I am using the built in screen on Ubuntu, after a while the brightness begins to flicker, and the entire laptop, apart from the mouse, locks up. I have to hard shut down the laptop.
I have tried looking for solutions online, but all I get are complaints of brightness controls not working.
Are there any drivers I need?
