Out of curiosity, why wouldn't I be notified of the update if I have 12.04 LTS installed? I have it setup to notify me of any new version, but I don't see the upgrade available.

If you already upgraded, then you already have 12.04.1.

The Number.Number.X, the X version is a culmination of updates to date.

Ok, so even though my system won't give me the version number 12.04.1 if I have done all of the updates essentially that is the version that I am running.

    Thanks for the explanation,
