Can Iphone interact with Ubuntu Lucyd?

    Hello Everybody.
I use Ubuntu Lucyd (64bit) and I would like very much to connect my Iphone 3GS just to upload the music and to download the photos.
    Is this possible?
When I connect the device, the battery starts to charge, but it is not recognized by the system at all.

    Any advice?
    Thanks in advance

Should work in theory. Do you have the usbmuxd package installed? What do you see in dmesg?
BTW, there're a lot of howtos regarding iPhone and Ubuntu. Please google a little bit.

Hello Whoopie, thank you for the reply.
I already have installed the usbmuxd package, but I don't know what you mean about dmesg.
However, I have already tried other solution surfing the web, and also in other forums, but I still can not fix my problem.

    Any other advice?
