Question How to look for a kernel bug?

    Hi all,

I'm basically looking to see whether Austin's comment in Wine bug 26944 is correct, and that the problem I'm experiencing could be related to a kernel bug.

I have looked at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelDebuggingTricks and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Debug...ingWhileAtomic but, honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing.

Could anyone point me into the right direction to find out if the kernel is slipping up here?

    Thanks.

Hmmm I guess not. Might have been better to ask in a different place.

Went back to Ubuntu's Linux 2.6.38-8 to make sure that this isn't a recent kernel regression. The result is the same.
