    Having looked at your links only one of them is actually a thread started by you! A couple you are pages deep and asking for help on someone else's thread (hijacking). If you have a specific issue, please post a new thread with a descriptive title and as much info as you can about your problem rather than join an existing thread. Thanks.

    Threads appear on search lists along with all others, so not being ignored as much as other users perhaps feel they can't help with the issue. There is nothing any of us can do to get the community to deal with any particular thread or provide answers, unfortunately. If you look at some of my previous threads they are two page dialogues with myself!

    Best way to draw attention to threads, as they do drop down the list over time, is to give them a bump every twenty four hours. You can just add a new post with 'bump' as the body text or report your progress which might add some clues and drag in helpers. Any activity on the thread will put it at the top of the search list again.

    Please wait twenty four hours before bumping, though.

    Thanks. I do understand that not all questions can be answered, or that most people just don´t have the answers. I´ve used Ubuntu for quite a while, yet I´m still seeking advice.
    It´s just frustrating. Also, I thought ´bumping´ was against the rules...?

    It is if you do it every five minutes! Twenty four hours is fine and fair. The best bump, as I say, is one that adds more information. This can/should be added, when legit and not just an obvious premature bump(!), whenever relevant. This can help to jog other user's memories, give clues and generally link their previous experiences with your current one.

    (and yes, it can be frustrating.)

    Yea, I have a similar problem. Often questions I ask are seemingly too complex for these forums.

    If you are not getting an answer, try IRC, askubuntu, and google.

    You can also look at how to ask a question. Keep in mind we are all volunteers, so the way you ask a questions will influence the probability of getting an answer.

    You're right. Just means your thread has been moved to Forum Feedback & Help sub-forum and you are already there! It will still pop up in your User CP as per normal.
