    Wink card reader not working

Hello, i'm having a problem with my card reader hardware. I have a HP pavillion dv6 2160 ep with this specifications for the card reader:

04:00.1 System peripheral: JMicron Technology Corp. SD/MMC Host Controller
04:00.2 SD Host controller: JMicron Technology Corp. Standard SD Host Controller
04:00.3 System peripheral: JMicron Technology Corp. MS Host Controller
04:00.4 System peripheral: JMicron Technology Corp. xD Host Controller

I have already tried to get those drivers but i could not find it. Can somebody help my about this? maybe some alternative drivers should do..

PS: i'm using Ubuntu pangolin 2.4 LTS with kubuntu desktop installed.
I also had already searched for similar threads but didn't find something like this.

    Kind regards

    Re: card reader not working

Perhaps someone will be able to help with drivers ... but don't hold out hope. I've several PCs, each with a card reader, each running different versions of Ubuntu, and NONE of them can use the card readers.

Solution I found that works is to use a card reader with an attached USB cable. That seems to work most of the time.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.

    Re: card reader not working

I have an old HP Pavilion computer (T760uk) and the inbuilt multi card reader actually works via the usb. (as in it shows up as a usb device) Terminal command lsusb shows it as " Bus 004 Device 002: ID 058f:9360 Alcor Micro Corp. 8-in-1 Media Card Reader"
