    External monitor wrong size

When connecting my new Lemur Ultra via HDMI to my toshiba 55" TV, the display gets detected as a toshiba 72" TV, and the top, bottom and sides of the image are not displayed.

I can only get the whole desktop to display on the external monitor if I pick a very low resolution setting (below the TV's HD resolution).

Anyone know how I can solve/troubleshoot this?

    thanks

The top, bottom and sides being cut off is called overscan, and is a feature of your TV. To fix it, simply* disable it in your TV's settings.

*May or may not actually be simple, or even possible, depending on the TV.

Thanks a lot! Found the option in my TV, under "picture size"->"native".
