Enhanced zoom doesn't work but thread was closed

    Hello,

I posted in this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...5#post12176625

But it was closed without notice so no one can answer

So here's a new thread, but I can't edit the other post so there's no way for me to add a link to here.

TL;DR: Does anyone know how to enable compiz enhanced zoom plugin? Changing keyboard/mouse commands through ccsm doesn't work.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using. With the later versions of Ubuntu, Ubuntu uses Unity as it's default desktop environment and Enhanced Zoom does not work well with it. I recomend using the Gnome3 desktop environment with it's built in zoom feature.

Works fine here in unity, both in precise and Quantal using Super plus mousewheel buttons.
    Precise...nvidia gfx driver
    Quantal..nouveau gfx driver

Are the icons on the side of the screen zoomed in on as well? I recall being able to get enhanced zoon to work with unity but I could not get the icons zoomed in. Only the desktop itself was zoomed in and I need the entire screen to be zoomed in on.
