Question Cube in Compiz is actually a panel

I downloaded Compiz through the software center after I installed the Gnome because I wanted all those nifty visualizations. When I went to enable the cube and rotate cube, all it was able to do was rotate a panel that would switch me between desktop 1 and 2. There was no way to get to 3 and 4 through that.

Note that I'm a newb at this. I just did a dual install last night.

(If a moderator happens to pass by, let me tell you that I can't edit my profile details. I can't change how I'm using Ubuntu, nor can I change which version I'm using.)

Details: Dual install with Windows. Ubuntu 12.04 on an HP mini-110. Need any more details?

If you mean the Gnome shell it does not use Compiz as the window manager.

To get the cube to have four sides in Ubuntu go to general options in the CCSM > desktop size and set horizontal size to 4.
    Infinite diversity in infinite combination.

Awesome, that seemed to work thank you so much.

But also, one more thing, What the hell is the "primary" button? it seems that when I press alt+control to set the keys for a command on ccsm, the primary button appears as if it's a combination of the two.

Also, when I try to simply drag a window to another workstation, it snaps to the workstation I'm on instead of staying halfway between the two. I liked it better that way when I had 10.10. It felt more natural.

Hi, click on the compiz link in my signature it should help.

Also you can not edit your profile until you reach 50 posts and it looks like you just did, so give it a little time the bot runs once every hour.
    Thanks

I think I will follow those instructions to the word. How can I go about reseting everything that I did with ccsm and uninstalling it? That way, I can start over.
