    iBurst USB modem

Good day, I am still a novice in Linux and would love some help getting started. I am currently running windows and linux on different partitions. I wish to be able to use my iburst usb modem in linux because swiching between opperating systems every 10 min is a lot of effort and half of the programs i need to install, i have to do through terminal. I tried a few drivers from source fourge but came up short (when installing i get an error which states that the directory was not found). Can anybody point me in the direction of a working driver and/or a "installing iburst on ubuntu for idiots" guide???*
    Thanx in advance
