    Unhappy Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan

I just pulled out a Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan® from the old hardware closet and installed it, so far so good. It works AOk. However, when I visited Logitech site it says no support for Linux OS.

Is there some way to make the various mouse buttons functional?

    Thanks for any help.

You used to be able to manually alter the xorg.conf file with various mouse options. Do a web search.
