    Ubuntu 12.04 Laptop Bugs Re: Screen

    I updated to 12.04 a couple weeks ago. Everything has been running fine, but today my screen started tripping up. The screen brightness bar pops up and my laptop freezes, although it will continue playing music or running whatever apps. However, I cannot stop those apps. The only way for me to get a working system is to reboot until I get a working system.

    Also, my screen will sort of flicker ...

    My laptop is a Samsung (not sure model, received Dec. '11)
    Intel® Pentium(R) CPU B950 @ 2.10GHz × 2
    32-bit
    3.8 GiB Memory
    495.3 GB

    Any ideas? PLEASE HELP! How do I report/determine if a bug exists? Thanks!
    PS-Still a newbie, maybe a yellowbelt!
