    Maximum password length

    Hello!

    I wanted to add Ubuntu 12.04 via Wubi to my Windows notebook.

    The maximum password length I can enter in the installer window is 19 characters, a limitation I never experienced with my pure Ubuntu installations.

    Is that a technical limitation oder just an arbitrary one?

    In the latter case, I'd file a bug report or a feature request.

    Is it possible to change that to something longer after the installation?

    If SUDO is all-powerful, can SUDO start a process that SUDO can't kill?
