Touchpad two-finger scrolling is too sensitive

I'm enjoying my new System76 Pangolin Performance with 12.04, and the two-finger scrolling is a very nice touch, but I find that it's way to sensitive, in that scrolling is either by tiny increments with light touches, or down across the entirety of a page with a stronger move. Is there a way to lower the scrolling sensitivity?
I wish meatspace had a search function.

Try with mouse settings, write "mouse" in dash and it will appear.

There's only an option for pointer sensitivity, not scroll sensitivity.

Looks like there's a program called synaptiks available in the Ubuntu Software Center that gives more fine-grained touchpad configuration options. I'll try that.
