Nagios plugin installation fail

actually it give me that error into nagios, which I considere not understandable... could someone explain me what to do exactly and why is this happening ?

it does this error when I type the command "sudo make"....

Do have already running a Nagios Server, right?


You may have to create before a user and group (or use user/group that already have been created)


./configure --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios make make install

in fact the server is currently running with no plugins, I have no idea how to fix this kind of error... all recursive , chek_http.o ...

Before configure the source install libssl-dev:

#apt-get install libssl-dev

After that:

#./configure --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios
#make
#make install

And that package (libssl-dev) solve your problema with check_http.
