You're a miracle worker, killz! Thanks for this help!
It is probably the x11 composite module.
Insert this into your firefox script /usr/bin/firefox:
Or disable the composite module by deletingCode:export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1
in /etc/X11/xorg.confCode:Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Enable" EndSection

Thanks everyone!
I finally got this FAQ to work after reformatting my laptop and installing Edgy final on it. I only have one problem: I cannot print in the 32-bit browser. Is there any solution to this, or am I just stuck?

Does it give you an error message or something because I don't see how that effects the printing command...?
There's no error message, but the printer doesn't come up in the print dialog. The only thing present there is "PostScript/default". When I open my 64-bit Firefox, it lets me print without issue.
I figure that I'm just missing a library or something, but I don't know where to start. Can anyone here print from the 32-bit firefox?

Well in the properties beside the default I beleive you just enter a standard lp unix command. I am new to this too but to print in unix I think its the lp command and I noticed that was in there. With in the command you reference a printer, so perhaps you just include yours in that command, who knows though.. certainly not me...
If you notice 64 bit has the same thing, so you just need to put your printer device within the lp command.
Install went well however firefox32 is unable to detect DNS settings within resolv.conf loaded back to firefox64 and works fine no trouble at all. Went back to firefox32 and put in IP rather then name and site game up.
Anyone have any thoughts on how I could fix this?.
Thank you
Great guide, works like a charm, thanks!
