I trust Microsoft as far as I could comfortably spit a dead rat
I'm in my third year at a Lutheran seminary!
i did that and there is no .macromedia file
ok somehow in the process of installing firefox32....it just didn't
I went back and re-did the steps but i ran the firefox32 install first before the ia32
could this be the cause of the problem?
and linux has yet to not surprise me, I closed everything (after enabling hidden files, etc. and closing the file browser) opened it up again and .macromedia was there, full fucntioning
Hi, I used the script and worked great. Thanks!
Just 2 minor issues:
1. I cannot see pdf files into the browser. Firefox's download tool pop-ups every time.
2. Although I've installed the mplayer plug in cannot here streaming audio (e.g. go at www.e-radio.gr and click in any station).
Thanks.
1. The script doesn't install adobe acrobat. That is separate and only available with the manual howto? Did you do the manual part for acrobat?
2. It takes a bit for the stations to start, about 3 minutes, but I hear them. To make sure that everything was installed please paste the responce to the following commands into a reply
andCode:ls -al /usr/lib32/firefox32/plugins
Code:ls -al /usr/bin/mplayer*

I had already installed Adobe Reader 7 before using your script.
The 64bit version of Firefox wouldn't open pdf files inline either and a friend of mine, that has the same laptop, told me that the 32bit version has no such problem. However he currently has no linux distro installed and cannot remember what he did.
