Samsung Wins Favorable Ruling On Galaxy Tab In UK Court

(RTTNews) - Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (SSNLF.PK: News ,SSNNF.PK: News ) received a favorable ruling in the U.K. on Monday when a judge said the firm's Galaxy tablets do not infringe Apple Inc.'s (AAPL: News ) registered design for iPad, reports said.

Judge Colin Birss said the Galaxy tablets are not as cool as the Apple design, stating they "do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design."

It is a temporary injunction. So the time being yeah it is banned from being imported. Whatever a UK court decides makes no difference in the U.S. When has it ever?

I have nothing but unkind things to say about Apple. Hell I prefer Microsoft and would recommend them before Apple and that's pretty pathetic.
