    YouVersion Linux Programmer

Hey guys, I was on YouVersion's blog and noticed that they're looking to hire a programmer with GNU/Linux experience!

As this is a Bible website, one of the implicit qualifications is that you must hold Judeo-Christian beliefs (just stating the facts so I would appreciate it if this thread wasn't censored).

God bless you in your job search!

If they're in the United States (which their phone number indicates they are) that's not legal.

Just saying. Thanks for sharing the posting with jobs hunters though!

    Re: YouVersion Linux Programmer

"if the polices or practices at issue are not job-related and necessary to the operation of the business". I don't know if they actually require to the applicant to hold those beliefs for the programming post but it is legal for institutions to require those beliefs, as long as it directly pertains to the job, such as a church hiring a pastor.

That discussion aside, I'm more than happy to help out my fellow Linux geeks
