    Can't find the waste bin

    Hi group,
    Using Lubuntu.
I can't find the waste bin. In fact, I can't find any way to sort of personalise anything.
Can any kind person point me in the right direction?

I can't get most things working most of the time?

If you are looking for trash (waste bin), merely open your file manager and you will be able to get there.
If you want to install it on your desktop, see this site.

Glad you got it solved. If it is solved, please mark as so

However, I'm surprised it wasn't on the desktop by default.

I found this handy to keep around. Just download the manual.

The OP is using Lubuntu and Trash is not on the desktop by default. I guess that is one of the sacrifices that we must endure for a very light and super fast OS.

In Ubuntu Unity dash it is at the very bottom. One of many reasons for the dash is to keep things off the desktop and in some orderly fashion. I never use the trash can, I just right mouse click and move to trash.
