    I have a computer that needs a folder password protected. How do I do that?

    directories, not folders. "Folders" is the Windows terminology for directories.
    Windows assumes the user is an idiot.
    Linux demands proof.

    This link says after installing, go to Applications –> System Tools –> Cryptkeeper

    There is no "Applications" anywhere.

    Search for "cryptkeeper" in the Unity search menu.
