Ok so today i got my PCI PVR card i ordered on ebay (Hauppauge PVR-350), and i got it installed and working great. I can record using:
And i get a fairly decent recording from my cable box (Fair enough). Now what i am trying to do is STREAM the input with VLC, but everything i tried from everywhere i looked didn't really help me. All i am trying to do is stream /dev/video0 to my network. Anyone got an ideas?Code:cat /dev/video0 > tv.mpg
BTW i am using ubuntu server, so no GUI, just terminal
