I am a complete beginner when it comes to this, but this is what I tried:

3. This worked for the two Bluetooth ones, but the "wireless-bcm43142-dkms-220.127.116.11_amd64.deb" and the "wlan_amd64.deb" packages failed to install, giving the following output:

I am running a fresh install of 64-bit en-GB Ubuntu 12.04 on a Dell Inspiron 5420 (the 14" sister of the 5520) using the Wubi installer. I have no access to non-wireless internet.
