    [12.04] Dual-stack, how to prefer IPv6 name servers?

    Hi All

    I run IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack with a Hurricane Electric IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel. My router is supplying autoconfiguration for the IPv6 prefix and also supplying IPv6 DNS name servers. This is my current /etc/resolv.conf:

    $ cat /etc/resolv.conf
    # Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8)
    # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
    nameserver 208.67.220.220
    nameserver 208.67.222.222
    nameserver 2620:0:ccc::2
    search gone123.net obscured123.com

    When I run tests such as http://test-ipv6.com/ it always fails on the "v6ns"

    "If this test fails: it means that the DNS resolver you are using, requires IPv4 to reach the DNS authoritative servers of your favoriate web sites. In the near future, every web site of consequence will remain accessible in this form, so there is no immediate danger."

    Can I configure my system to prefer the IPv6 DNS resolver rather than IPv4?
