I made a post in a different forum earlier, but I didn't get any replies...
So Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit updated the kernel to 3.2.0-26-generic, and a few other things. It said I had to restart to apply the updates fully, blah blah blah... But when it booted back up, it just stalled on a blank purple screen. I got it booted up once by puttinginstead of quiet splash, but even after trying the exact same thing multiple times, it just stays at a blank purple screen now... When I got it up that one time I didCode:nomodesetand checked for updates (none). I tried recovery mode too, and it stalls at the same blank purple screenCode:sudo apt-get update
My machine is running on an i5 3570k with nvidia gtx 550 ti.
Is there any known fix for this? Or any suggestions that I should try?
If there's any information I forgot to tell
